Ivan Rodriguez

Ivan was born in Bogotá, Colombia and moved to Jacksonville in 2001. Prior to Reliant, Ivan worked at VyStar Credit Union as a relationship specialist. He decided to join the team after hearing of our rapidly growing company and our commitment to providing premier customer service to the local community. Ivan likes the assessment specialist position, because it gives him the opportunity to be outside. In his free time, Ivan likes to hang out with his girlfriend and their dog, Zeus. He also enjoys watching soccer, basketball, and football, and going to Jaguars games.

Adrienne Menzies

Adrienne was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida but has spent several years in Texas, Massachusetts, Colorado, and Alabama. She has a Bachelor’s in Business with an emphasis on marketing and graphic design. Prior to her transition to Reliant, Adrienne was a top performer for a national digital marketing firm. After experiencing Reliant’s unique business practices and learning about its strong desire to improve the local community, Adrienne knew this was the company she had to be a part of. Adrienne now lives in St Augustine Beach with her dog, Maggie. Her hobbies include fishing, cooking, baking, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with her friends.

Kensie Brown

Kensie is originally from St. Augustine but relocated to Jacksonville Beach with her family in 2000. She graduated from Fletcher High School, and until now, has spent a majority of her career in the customer service industry. This experience gave her deep appreciation for building customer relationships and providing quality service. Kensie is responsible for handling lien releases and other various billing items for Reliant. She currently resides in Atlantic Beach and spends a majority of her free time with her fiance, Matt, and their daughter, Marlee.

Juan Suarez

Juan was born in Colombia, South America, where he and his mom left when Juan was 8 months old to come to the United States. He is currently working on his AA at Florida State College at Jacksonville, majoring in pharmacology. Before Reliant, Juan worked at All State in data entry. Juan really liked the office environment and working directly with computers and systems. Juan heard about Reliant and how it is ever-expanding as well as how friendly and professional the staff were, so he knew wanted the position of production associate. In his free time, he loves to skateboard, along with several other activities such as outdoor sports, spending time with his dog, and working on his car.

Juliana Pantoja

Juliana was originally born in Colombia, but moved to the U.S. at a very young age. She grew up in Jacksonville and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Growing up Juliana helped her dad run his painting business and learned many useful skills that she utilizes today. She recently graduated from high school and is currently enrolled at FSCJ. With her outstanding organization skills and efficiency, she is excited and eager to help the company grow and succeed. Juliana’s actions truly embody the culture of Reliant. She works extremely hard, always maintains a very positive attitude, treats others with the utmost respect, and is a friend to all. She consistently provides great customer service – she is kind to vendors, clients, and staff alike. When she is not working, Juliana is traveling.

Chris Hildebrand

Chris was born and raised in North Georgia. He moved to Jacksonville in the Fall of 2003. Chris was a commercial project manager for a fire protection/mechanical company in Atlanta (1996-2003) and moved here to open and run a branch office for them (2003-2015). Chris was then hired as a Commercial Project Manager for a concrete company (2015-2021) where he worked until that owner recently put the company on the market for sale. Chris has 25 years total experience managing these trades on large commercial projects. Chris came to Reliant because of Tim Conlan. Tim was a former client of his during his long tenure at Auld and White. They coached soccer with each other for several years at Florida Elite Soccer Academy. Chris is a 12 year volunteer soccer coach for the Florida Elite Soccer Academy. His passions are coaching, fishing, surfing and golf.

Drew Thomas

Drew was born and raised in Charleston, SC where he joined the US Air Force and served as a load-master on C-130’s. After his time in the service, he moved to Jacksonville and graduated from The University of North Florida with a business degree. While in Jacksonville, he met his wife, Olivia. They’ve made this great city their home and now have a son. Drew started his career with Reliant as an assessment specialist. He had such great success in this position that he received the National Roofing Alliance MVP Award. Drew’s continued success and skill have promoted him to a commercial estimator position. Outside of the office, Drew loves spending time with his wife, their son, Jake, and his father. His favorite hobbies include scuba-diving and surfing. His positive attitude and friendly nature make him the perfect fit for Reliant!

Mario Chaves

Mario was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, and graduated from a technical school with an emphasis on architecture. Mario moved to Jacksonville about 23 years ago. Prior to his transition to the Reliant family, he spent the last several years working on home renovations, specializing in carpentry. Mario loves facing new challenges and overcoming hurdles. He also values bringing the highest products and quality performance to his customers. When he was initially introduced to Reliant, for the first time in his career, he knew he could work for a company that he wouldn’t have to start at the bottom, but he would be a part of a work family and not just a job. After seeing the company’s morale and structure, he wanted to be a part of our team. He loves soccer, Formula 1 cars, and photography.

Craig Lammert

Craig was born and raised in Jacksonville, although he spent time in Gainesville and Atlanta prior to moving back to Jax. Before his role as a client manager, Craig worked as a sales associate for Southern Glazers. He brings with him a wealth of experience, managing sales and numerous client relations. He’s very passionate about customer service. When he witnessed the amount of focus, quality, and customer service that went into the daily efforts of the Reliant team, he knew he wanted to join the family. Craig is not your typical salesman, he believes in focusing on customer service and ensuring that every client has a positive experience. Craig builds lasting relationships with his customers and makes them feel like royalty. Craig enjoys fishing, golf, watching football games, and spending time with his dog, Bubba.

David Tuaty

David was born in Miami, FL, and was raised in Cali, Colombia, until he moved to Jacksonville at the beginning of the year. Before the pandemic, he was working in tourism as a VIP concierge and luxury travel agent then became a supervisor in a cleaning/remodeling company. When we asked him why he chose to work for us, he said, “I came to Reliant because I kept hearing of an awesome opportunity. I heard that you can learn, grow professionally, and be part of a great family here. That’s what I wanted.” In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and family, explore new areas, watch soccer, and spend time with friends.

John Waugh

John was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL, and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in finance and real estate. John’s path to the Reliant team is a unique one – he was a customer first. After experiencing Reliant’s unique business practices and learning about their strong desire to improve the local community, John knew this was the company he had to be a part of. Prior to joining the Reliant team, John was a top performer in residential mortgage lending for over five years. Earning a client’s trust and maintaining an open line of communication from start to finish, is always his main objective. John lives in Jacksonville with his wife Kristen, their two daughters, and their golden retriever, Doak. He loves spending time with his family and friends, being on the water, and playing football, golf and softball.

Luis Gutierrez

Luis was born and raised in Colombia, but before his move to the United States, he lived in Argentina, Australia, and Ecuador. The background in marketing from his bachelor’s degree along with his masters’s degree in international business management. Before coming to Reliant, Luis was part of the development of a commercial project in Aventura, FL., where he discovered the pleasure of working in the construction industry, deciding he wanted to deepen his knowledge in the field. When we asked why he came to Reliant, he said he “found out that the company is famously known for industry achievements and generates a positive impact giving back to the community with the social work program ‘Every Shingle Heart’.” In his free time, Luis likes riding his road bicycle, hiking, going for a walk in the mountains, among others.

Katherine Prausa

Katherine (Kat) was born and raised in Southeast Texas but has lived all over the United States. She lived in Phoenix, AZ for the last 10 years before moving to Jacksonville in 2016. Prior to joining the Reliant team, she was a billing specialist for an insurance corporation. When asked why she came to Reliant, she said: “I have always heard what a great company it is to work for and so far that has been proven true.” In her spare time, Kat likes to spend time with her husband and her 2 Boston Terriers, visit her grandchildren in Texas, and go to the beach!

Santiago Montes

Santiago (known around the office as Santi) is one of our very talented hurricane shutter installers. Santi is from Colombia but has been in Jacksonville for many years. He said he came to Reliant because “I want more professional work experience and learn more about the construction industry.” He is an extremely hard worker, but that’s not the only thing that our customers love about him. Santi is one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Our clients love his chipper, go-getter attitude. When he’s on a job site, he’s almost always smiling. Outside of work, Santi enjoys traveling, playing sports, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his family.

Robert Danisavage

Robert was born and raised in Jacksonville. Before his career at Reliant, Robert was a regional manager for a roofing contractor based out of the Ormond Beach area. Robert decided to move over to Reliant due to Reliant’s superb reputation. Robert was also very impressed with the marketing, sales material, and sales strategies. In addition to those reasons, Robert could tell almost immediately how well the company was run by its leadership. In his free time, Robert enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time anywhere the water and sun are plentiful, and having a good time with his friends and family.

JD Crowder

J.D. was born and raised in West Virginia and moved to Jacksonville 17 years ago for more work and personal opportunities. Before coming to Reliant, he was an operating partner for Bonefish Grill. J.D. came to Reliant in search of a better work/life balance. He wants to be able to spend more time with his family. He also wanted the opportunity to sell Tesla roofs. In his free time, he enjoys family time, playing golf, playing billiards, and many outdoor activities.

Denelle De La Torre

Denelle was born in Alabama but has lived in 21 states. The state she calls home is Michigan, because that is where a majority of her family lives. She moved to Jacksonville in March 2003 and loves being close to the water and the warm weather. Prior to coming to Reliant, she has been with several construction companies learning the construction side of the industry. She is now able to bridge the gap between her insurance knowledge and construction knowledge to better assist our clients. She was looking for a company that was growing and had a reputation for excellence in our industry. In her spare time, Denelle likes to spend time with her son, going to the beach, reading books, enjoys karaoke, and spending time with close friends.

Gabe Basart

Gabe Basart was born in Miami, FL but was raised in St. Augustine. Prior to his transition to Reliant, he owned a home inspection company. Most recently, he worked with SunWire where he was a commercial project manager. He worked throughout many states at multiple facilities. That being said, he reached a point in his life where he wanted to travel less. He was looking for an opportunity with a local, solid company that had good financial backing, as well as good name recognition. This is when he decided to join the Reliant family! In his spare time, Gabe enjoys being out on his boat, family time with his girlfriend and son, and bike riding through Jax beach.

Justin Alley

Say hi to Justin! He’s our VP of General Operations. Justin was born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in marketing. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and unparalleled experience managing business relationships and finding creative solutions. Justin helps plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee different operations in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. When asked what he loves about Reliant, he stated, “I love our teamwork. I love that we all work jointly, overcoming obstacles and finding solutions. This isn’t just a place to work, it’s family but we’re also teammates.” In his spare time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Aubrey, and their son, Jack.

Julian Castillo

Julian was born and raised in Colombia, but has lived in Jacksonville since April 2002. While in Columbia, he was an industrial engineer. Prior to his transition to Reliant Roofing, he worked for a mortgage company doing Select Portfolio Servicing. He came to Reliant because he is constantly looking for more opportunities to educate himself and grow, since he strongly believes in trying to learn more every day. He knew that Reliant was the right company to continue with his dreams and already feels like part of the family. His favorite word is respect – he believes in respecting his company and his customers, every shingle time!

Kevin Cates

Kevin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville with a degree in network systems technology. Kevin has worked in various aspects of the construction industry for the last 23 years. He then became a carpenter by trade and owned a remodeling business for the last 13 years specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, prior to making Reliant Roofing his new home. He decided to make the transition to Reliant after meeting with Sean and Cameron. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys fishing, camping, being on the water or outdoors, technology, online gaming, air-soft with his son, traveling and spending time with his family. He is married to his wife, Jennifer Cates. Together they have two boys, Nicholas and Luke, and their dog, Penny.

Kim Simone

Kim grew up in Florida, but spent most of her adult life living in California. She has a masters degree in education and dedicated 18 years as an teacher in both California and Florida before joining Reliant. Kim started at Reliant as a Client Coordinator Kim’s incredible work ethic and dedication to the company’s success has pushed her to the top as the VP of Sales and Marketing. Kim is always taking initiative and spearheading initiatives that improve Reliant systems and processes, along with improving day to day workflow. She is responsible for managing the marketing department, lead generation, and increasing sales for the organization. She is responsible for developing the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for Reliant. Kim enjoys spending time outdoors, kayaking, fishing, traveling, and being a mom to her daughter, Allison.

Kenny McSpadden

Kenny was born in Wayne County, GA and raised in Brunswick, GA. Kenny was retired before coming to Reliant but has been in the construction/roofing industry for many years. Kenny oversees many commercial repair projects coordinating and managing the on-site duties, to deliver successful roof repair projects, on time and on budget. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He demonstrates a strong work ethic, initiative, and resourcefulness. His leadership has made him an instant standout. He’s a team player and is always asking to do more, his intentions are always for the betterment of the company and the client. He came to Reliant because it was a good fit, with fresh faces and new ideas. In his free time, Kenny likes to fish, camp, ride his motorcycle, and go to buffet bars.

Califf Stephens

Califf was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He has 15 years of experience in construction and roofing. Califf came to Reliant to join a growing team where he can further his career. Califf coordinates and manages all on-site activities, as well as work with project teams including project managers, estimators, foremen, and field personnel and other office departments. His main job role is to deliver successful, high quality projects on time and within the given budget. In his free time, Califf likes spending time with his wife and 10-year-old daughter. He also likes to hunt, fish, and camp.

Felipe Cuartas

Felipe was born and raised in Colombia, and moved to Miami 10 years ago before making Jacksonville his home in 2012. Prior to his transition to the Reliant family, he spent the last several years working as a team lead builder of the assembly dept at Sunesta Awnings and Outdoor Confort. He highly values bringing the highest product and quality performance to his customers. He knew Reliant was a great company and becoming a project manager at Reliant Roofing would be a big opportunity for him. After seeing the company morale and structure, he knew he had to be a part of the team. He loves soccer, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with his friends and family.

Edgar Lopez

Edgar was born and grew up in Guatemala and moved to Miami in 2010. In 2012, he moved to Jacksonville. Before coming to Reliant, Edgar worked as a gardener but didn’t like that career so he started working in roofing. Edgar came to Reliant because it was a great opportunity to improve his experience and knowledge. He runs his own repair crew. He is always getting pulled to and from various projects and tasks but has proven to be dependable, respectful, and extremely hard-working. He is self-motivated, always on time, and is very dedicated to the team. Outside of work, he likes spending time with his wife and son, going fishing, and visiting other family members.

Cameron Shouppe

Cameron was born and raised in the Jacksonville area. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Construction Management. As the vice president of a major Jacksonville contracting company, he gained extensive experience in construction and renovation. It was through this experience that he met Sean. They realized there was a gap in the roofing industry, and saw the demand for a roofing company that offered a seamless experience and prided itself on professionalism. Cameron believes in treating each customer with courtesy and respect. He knows that they have a choice when hiring a roofing company, and it’s his goal for his clients to be thrilled with their entire experience with Reliant Roofing. He aims to consistently deliver the highest level of expertise, customer service and value. Cameron lives in Jacksonville with his wife Chelsey and their daughter McKaelyn. He cherishes being a dad and enjoys spending time with his family on the water, boating and fishing.

Sean Shapiro

Sean grew up in South Florida and went to the University of Florida, where he majored in real estate. He’s honored to be a recent recipient of the Gator 100 Award, which honors UF Alumni’s fastest growing businesses. He has vast experience in real estate development and worked for one of the leading acquisition firms in Northeast Florida. Ever the entrepreneur, Sean’s first successful business was in residential renovations, and his business managed over 200 projects. Through this experience he met Cameron, and they decided it was time to fill a void in the roofing industry and begin a business that would provide premium quality and service. It’s Sean’s goal to provide Reliant Roofing’s customers with the utmost professionalism, from the first consultation all the way to the finished product. He strives daily to make Reliant Roofing the gold standard in the industry. Sean and his wife Natalie, a teacher, live in Jacksonville Beach with their black lab. He enjoys spending time at the beach, boating and playing sports such as flag football, basketball and softball. He’s also a craft beer aficionado who can sometimes be found brewing his own batch.

Amanda Jackson

Amanda was born and raised in Jacksonville. Graduated from FSCJ with an Associates in General Education. She is married to her husband Mark, a US Army veteran. They have a German Shepherd rescue, Freya. In her free time, Amanda takes part in a viking reenactment living history organization called Sons of Loki. Her and her husband travel around the U.S. and set up camp at viking, celtic, medieval and renaissance festivals where they and their group educate people about the viking age, their weapons, and how they lived, worked, fought, etc. Her hobbies include bowling, volleyball, swimming and trying new foods. Her goal with the company is to make it her career, not just a job. With her outstanding organizational skills and efficiency, she stays excited and eager to help the company grow and succeed.

Lenin Gonzales

Lenin was born and raised in Nicaragua and moved to Miami in 2004. He lived in Miami for 13 years where he first started his career in the roofing industry. In 2017, Lenin moved to Orange Park, Florida with his family. Lenin began working with Reliant Roofing in 2018, bringing to the company a vast experience of over 15 years in the field. What he likes about working for Reliant is the opportunity to grow and develop professionally, the welcoming environment, and the friendly and helpful staff. Also, he is very proud to work for a company that values customer satisfaction and he always strives to achieve great customer reviews. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his two sons, playing video games, and going on family road trips, but his favorite hobby is being a DJ.

Dan Gusler

Dan grew up in a small town located directly in the middle of Illinois known as Peoria Heights. He started his trade of drywall taping in 2012. He worked for a few of the top-tier drywall companies in his area. After many hours put in with his pan and knife in hand, he became known as a drywall taper extraordinaire. Drywall is what led him to Jacksonville and Reliant. After working on the taping portion of the new office, he was asked to join the Reliant team. He has found that the Reliant team is a great fit for himself. While not at work he enjoys time with his kids, baseball, playing guitar, and listening to music.

Matthew Hirthe

Matthew was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He moved to Jacksonville in August of 2016. Matthew was an electrician in Wisconsin and worked as a lead electrician at a different company here in Jacksonville before starting with Reliant. He was offered a position to start up, organize, and manage an electrical division within Reliant for Hurricane Shutters and Solar. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family either grilling or going to the beach. Matthew also enjoys time in his garage listening to music and working on home projects. Most of all, Matthew loves doing things for his fiance, Kensie, his two daughters, and their dog, Alvin.

Kyle Ingram

Kyle was born and raised in the Northeast FL area. Kyle has many years of experience working in customer service. He decided to make his career change to Reliant for the growth opportunities and to be involved in a company that gives back to their community. Kyle is a hard worker and is always willing to go the extra mile. He never complains and is willing to step up and take on extra work when it is needed of him. We get many raving reviews of Kyle’s educational and kind demeanor. In his free time, he enjoys being with family and friends, taking his dogs to the beach or for a hike, riding his four-wheeler, singing and playing his guitar, and spending time with his fiance, Autumn.

Jaime Hart

Jaime was born in Allentown, PA. She lived there until she joined the military in 1997. She graduated from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Professional Aeronautics. Prior to her transition to Reliant, she worked with another local roofing company and was referred to us by her previous co-worker, Denelle. When she asked her why she came to Reliant “to bring back the Denelle and Jaime dynamic duo! I love this company, their structure, and their care for what they do.” In her free time, Jaime likes to spend time with her three kids, two dogs, and husband. She also likes to knit, crochet, teach Zumba, and Aqua Zumba. But her favorite off-time activity? Sleep!

Jonathan Alley

Jonathan was born and raised in Jacksonville. He lived in Fort Myers for 4 years while completing his college education. He then came back to Jacksonville to work with Reliant because of the incredible feedback he had heard from customers as well as the employees. Jonathan liked the family feeling the company brought and the overall mission of the company. In his free time, Jonathan is always outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hiking, or going to the beach. He also enjoys spending time with his Alaskan Malamute, Brodie.

Melissa Widrig

She is one of our Client Coordinators. Melissa was born and raised in Jacksonville. She originally worked in the food industry, managing a few stores, and then moved into working at a Direct Mail House. In the 11 years she worked there, Melissa learned more than she could ever imagine. She started in the shipping department and quickly started to learn different positions in the company to educate herself on their processes. She worked in shipping, mailing list data, machine operation, shift supervision, all to better her education in customer service. She made a decision to make a change in her life so that she could have more time with her family, so she came to Reliant. She is married and will be celebrating 14 years with her husband. They have a 3-year-old son.

Debbie Shapiro

Debbie was born in Miami, Florida and grew up in Fort Lauderdale. She has been a business owner/operator for over 20 years in the financial/business supply industries. Her decision to join Reliant Roofing was based on the desire to be a part of a company that prides itself on the highest level of professionalism and desire to change the perception and reputation of the roofing industry. But most importantly, she wanted the opportunity and pleasure to work alongside her son and be part of his success. Debbie enjoys the beach, boating, and spending time with her son Sean, daughter-in-law, Natalie and Grand-dog Sadie!

Trevor Osborne

Trevor was born and raised in Williamstown, New Jersey. He moved down to Jacksonville at the beginning of 2015. Prior to his career with Reliant, Trevor was an electrician but has worked in various construction trades for close to 20 years. Trevor came to Reliant after seeing how our company functions and talking to the employees from every part of the company. From roofers, to repair guys, to shutters, to sales, every person cannot stop saying how happy they are working with Reliant. In his free time, Trevor likes to build things such as furniture and cars. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and animals.

Sarah Thrift

Sarah was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She came to visit her Mom and Step-Dad in Jacksonville, 3 months after they moved here from Fort Lauderdale in December of 2002. She loved it and never left! She worked at Auld-White for 5 years as an administrator and left to stay home with her son for the first year. When he turned 1, she went to work at Marietta Sand. She was in the AP and AR Department. A friend from Auld-White called Sarah to let her know “she thought she had an awesome opportunity for me that would be the perfect fit for me” and here she is! She was impressed by the friendliness at Reliant shown when she came to talk to Tim! She has 2 boys and a husband. In her spare time, she makes screen print tees, likes to go running, ride 4 wheelers, go to the beach, and attend outdoor events/festivals.

Brennan Asplen

Brennan was born in Orlando, Florida, and moved to the Jacksonville area at the age of 11. Prior to his transition to Reliant, he worked in medical sales for the last 3 and a half years. Brennan said that he decided to join Reliant because “it is a great opportunity to do what I am passionate about, which is creating and building relationships. I also wanted to be at a company that has a proven track record with the intention to continue to strive for greatness and be leaders among others.” In his spare time, he enjoys photography and spending time with his girlfriend and dog. He also enjoys the beach, boating, anything outdoors, and fitness.

Tim Conlan

After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Tim worked for a major Jacksonville general contractor for 27 years. During his time there, he served in several capacities including Estimator, Superintendent, Project Manager, Division Manager, VP of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Talent and Training. He understands the general contracting world and what it takes to be successful from acquiring the work, to completing it. The Reliant team is very excited to have Tim’s knowledge and expertise, as he understands what general contractors demand from their partners and is able to create systems that will give us what we need to be successful in our projects. In his spare time, Tim enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family!

Camilo Calle

Camilo is originally from Boston, but relocated to Jacksonville 5 years ago. With 18 years of experience in the roofing industry, Camilo is a master roofer. Camilo is one of those guys that will never turn down a job, no matter how big or small, or how difficult the project is. He believes that the impossible is possible. Camilo’s can-do attitude is what makes him the perfect fit as our head trainer and recruiter. At Reliant Roofing we look for like minded individuals with drive and values over traditional training. Camilo finds those people and trains them to become a specialized skilled labor force for Reliant Roofing. Camilo Calle is also a NRCA Qualified Trainer.
